Terms, Conditions, Bookings & Cancellation Policy

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, training courses and services provided by Target 22 Motorcycle Training.

By making a booking with Target 22 Motorcycle Training, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

1. Training Standards & Compliance

Target 22 Motorcycle Training operates in accordance with DVSA guidance and standards, UK consumer legislation, Equality Act 2010, Health & Safety obligations, UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Bookings

Bookings may be made online, by telephone, by email or via approved third-party booking platforms. A booking is not confirmed until payment or deposit has been received and confirmation has been issued by Target 22 Motorcycle Training.

3. Deposits & Payments

Certain courses may require a non-refundable deposit to secure training dates. Outstanding balances must be paid before training commences.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

More than 7 days before training
Bookings cancelled more than 7 days before the course date may receive a refund minus any
non-refundable deposit or transfer to another available date.

Between 48 hours and 7 days before training
IMPORTANT – CANCELLATIONS WITHIN THIS PERIOD MAY RESULT IN PARTIAL LOSS OF FEES.

Cancellations made between 48 hours and 7 days before training may receive up to a 50% refund or be offered a discretionary transfer to another date.

Less than 48 hours before training
IMPORTANT – CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 48 HOURS OF TRAINING ARE NORMALLY NON-REFUNDABLE.

This includes non-attendance, late arrival preventing training completion, failure to bring required documentation or licence and failure to meet legal riding requirements.

Students arriving more than 15 minutes late without prior agreement may be classed as a non-attendance and the booking fee may be forfeited.

5. Missed Training / Non-Attendance
IMPORTANT – FAILURE TO ATTEND A BOOKED TRAINING SESSION WITHOUT PRIOR AGREEMENT WILL NORMALLY RESULT IN LOSS OF THE BOOKING FEE.

Arrival more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, without prior agreement from Target 22 Motorcycle Training, may also be treated as non-attendance.

We recognise that exceptional circumstances can arise and each case may be reviewed individually.

6. Additional Needs & Accessibility

Target 22 Motorcycle Training is committed to supporting customers with disabilities, neurodiversity or communication difficulties. Customers are encouraged to notify us of any additional needs at the earliest opportunity so reasonable adjustments can be considered.

7. Weather & Safety Cancellations

Training may be postponed or rescheduled where weather or safety conditions make training unsafe, including ice, snow, flooding, severe winds or dangerous road conditions.

8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must hold the correct licence entitlement, provide valid identification where required, wear suitable clothing and safety equipment, follow instructor guidance and behave safely and respectfully.

9. Medical Conditions & Fitness To Ride
Customers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit and legally entitled to ride.

Customers must inform instructors of any condition, medication or circumstance that may affect safe riding or participation.

10. Complaints Procedure
Complaints should be raised in accordance with the Target 22 Motorcycle Training Complaints Policy. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and provide a formal response
within 14 working days where reasonably possible.

11. Data Protection & Privacy
Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 1018. Information may be retained for operational, insurance, legal or safeguarding purposes.

12. Limitation of Liability
Motorcycle training involves inherent risk. Nothing within these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
